This is a picture of me in first grade at my Dance Festival.
The theme this year was Super Heroes. Carson performed to the theme song of "Superman" and Lexie performed to the theme song of "Batman". I love coming to watch and I love when they scan the audience looking for me and that look of relief when we catch each others eyes.

I love that you included your picture as well. It seems that everyone enjoys the dance festival, I haven't heard anything bad about it. I think it is a great tradition.
Jonie, that brings back a lot of memories for me too. Our school was called Lake Ridge Elementary. I don't have a picture of it because I don't think they had invented cameras yet. But I remember we dances around the May pole. Life flies on wings of lightning. Your children are truly blessed to have you and Kevin as their parents. I remember that from last year and I thought it was so cool that your school does that. and how fun that you have your own memories of that!!!
It's funny to see how you were all in dresses and now the kids are all in jeans and t-shirts.
